Key Requirements

In the automotive industry, safeguarding intellectual property, confidential information, and sensitive development projects is a business-critical priority.

While TISAX® does not mandate a digital visitor management system, organizations must demonstrate robust controls for visitor access, physical security, confidentiality, and the protection of sensitive information.

A digital visitor management platform helps organizations implement these controls consistently, improve operational efficiency, and maintain continuous audit readiness.

REQUIREMENT AREA REQUIREMENT HOW VISTRAX SUPPORTS COMPLIANCE
Security Awareness & Visitor Briefings Individuals accessing company facilities must understand applicable information security requirements and confidentiality obligations. Deliver digital security briefings and capture acknowledgement before access is granted.
Visitor Registration & Identification Visitors must be registered, identifiable, and processed according to defined visitor procedures. Enable visitor pre-registration, identity verification, digital check-in, and badge printing.
Physical Access Control Access to facilities and restricted areas must be controlled and limited to authorized individuals. Apply approval workflows, visitor permissions, host responsibility, and access restrictions.
Need-to-Know Access Physical access should be restricted to areas relevant to the visitor’s approved purpose. Ensure visitors only access approved locations linked to a specific host and visit purpose.
Visitor Escort Visitors entering sensitive or restricted areas may require supervision and additional controls. Manage escort requirements, host notifications, and zone-specific visitor policies.
Audit Evidence & Compliance Documentation Security-related visitor activities must be documented and available for audits and assessments. Generate complete visitor logs, signed records, visitor histories, and audit-ready reports.
Prototype & Sensitive Project Protection Access to prototype areas, development projects, and sensitive assets must be controlled and traceable. ISA2027 places additional emphasis on traceability and accountability. Track visitor access to protected areas, maintain full audit trails, and document accountability throughout the visitor lifecycle.
